All horse owners are looking to preserve or promote their horse’s health and well being, and many are looking to improve performance. ‘Horse Massage for Horse Owners’ offers an effective practical solution. Taught by a professional in the field of Equine Massage and Veterinary Physiotherapy, the student will learn how to carry out a complete massage routine with their own horse. The benefits of reduced pain and stiffness will be easily recognised, and will allow the horse to move more freely and more willingly.
Working with horses ranging from racehorse to rescue, from Shetland to Shire, Sue Palmer has amassed a wealth of experience. In this course she shares with the student some of the practices that enable her to be so successful in her work as a Chartered Veterinary Physiotherapist (ACPAT Category A). From recognising when a horse is in pain, through to helping make him more comfortable and knowing when to call a professional, this course offers valuable and effective techniques that can be used for free on a regular basis. Students will be inspired by the results they can achieve, and encouraged towards achieving their dreams with their horse.
You can bring your own horse to work with but spaces are limited and one other course member will be allocated to practice the techniques on him/her with you.
