Ashen Equestrian Centre attracts visitors from around the globe and we are happy to help our less local / overseas visitors with details of local accomadation. On the borders of Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, easily accessable from the M11, A12, A14, A120 and only 45 mins from Stansted Airport.

Ashen Equestrian Centre via A12 -
- A130 Springfield & Chelmsford exit
- Follow A130 until the
- A131 Sudbury & Halstead is sign-posted right at a roundabout
- Follow A130 until the traffic lights in High Garret then
- Turn left on to the A1017 to Gosfield
- Through Gosfield, Sible Hedingham & ~ Gt Yeldham to Ridgewell
- In Ridgewell turn right to Ashen, just after The King's Head pub
- * Drive through Ashen (pond on right, church on left) towards Clare
- You will leave the main part of the village and go around a
- Sharp left-hand bend with a grass triangle opposite
- Ashen Equestrian Centre is just after the bend also on the left
- If you miss us you may turn around on a large concrete area
- In front of a green barn 200 yds further up the road.
Ashen Equestrian Centre via M25 / M11 -
- Take junction 9 off M11 on to the
- A11 towards Newmarket
- 3rd junction on to the A1307 Haverhill
- Right at the roundabout towards Haverhill
- # Drive through Linton & past Horseheath
- Follow A1017 Haverhill bypass
- Straight over all the roundabouts
- Until you get to one where you must turn left or right
- Turn right
- Drive through Sturmer & Baythorne End to Ridgewell
- In Ridgewell take the first left to Ashen
- (If you get the The King's Head pub you've gone too far)
- Then follow the directions from * above
Ashen Equestrian Centre from th A11 Newmarket -
- Exit at the A1017 Haverhill junction
- Turn left at the roundabout towards Haverhill &
- Follow the directions from # above
Ashen Equestrian Centre via A14 -
- Take the Bury St Edmunds West exit
- Drive through Westley
- Go straight over at the staggered cross roads towards Horringer
- At the T'junction in Horringer turn right on to the A143 towards Haverhill
- Drive through Horringer, past Chedburgh & into Wickhambrook
- Take the 2nd turning on the left, just after the car and Rice Trailer dealership
- To Clare B1063
- In Clare follow the road to a junction just after the church
- Turn right at the junction, keeping The Bell on your left & The Co-Op on the right
- + Drive around a sharp right-hand bend and out of the High Street
- Turn left to Ashen 200 yds after & opposite the "Clare" village sign
- Follow the road over a bridge & around a sharp right-hand bend
- You will drive past a few houses on both sides of the road
- Then go up & down a hill & up another hill
- Past a green barn with a concrete car park in front on the right
- Ashen Equestrian Centre is 200 yds further also on the right.
Ashen Equestrian Centra via A131 Sudbury -
- To Long Melford
- A1092 towards Clare
- Through Cavendish and into Clare
- Around a sharp left-hand bend with The Bell Hotel on the left
- Then follow the directions from + above
Ashen Equestrian Centre via Halstead A1124
- Stay on the A1124 heading towards Sible Hedingham
- At the T'junction in Sible Hedingham turn right A1017 towards Haverhill
- Follow the directions from ~ in the Ashen Equestrian Centre via A12 directions
